Assessment of the renewable energy generation towards net-zero energy buildings: A review

نویسندگان

چکیده

Decarbonizing the building sector is extremely important to mitigating climate change as contributes 40% of overall energy consumption and 36% total greenhouse gas emissions in world. Net-zero buildings are one promising decarbonization attempts due their potential decreasing use increasing share renewable energy. To achieve a net-zero building, it necessary decrease demand by applying efficiency enhancement measures using sources. can be classified into four models (Net-Zero Site Energy buildings, Net-Zero Emissions Source Cost buildings). A variety technical, financial, environmental factors should considered during decision-making process development, justifying multi-criteria decision analysis methods for design buildings. This paper also discussed contributions generation (hydropower, wind energy, solar, heat pumps, bioenergy) development reviewed its role tackling challenge. Cost-benefit life cycle assessment designs challenges were shape priorities future development. It develop universal instrument optimum operation

Analysis and Optimization using Renewable Energies to Get Net-Zero Energy Building for Warm Climate

Due to low energy price, economic optimization of consumption has no justification for users in Iran. Nowadays, the issue of ending fossil fuels, production of greenhouse gases and the main role of building in consumption of considerable amount of energy has drawn the focus of global researches to a new concept called net zero energy building. In this study, modeling, simulation and energy anal...

Standard Unretrofitted Buildings and Net Zero-Energy Concept

There are many different possible combinations of building envelope, utility equipments and onsite energy generation equipments that can lead to net zero-energy performance. For instance, a building with standard design can offset its energy demand by adding a large amount of photovoltaic cells or by improving its energy efficiency rating first and then adding a smaller amount of photovoltaic c...

Towards Nearly Zero Energy Buildings in Europe: A Focus on Retrofit in Non-Residential Buildings

Buildings are the focus of European (EU) policies aimed at a sustainable and competitive low-carbon economy by 2020. Reducing energy consumption of existing buildings and achieving nearly zero energy buildings (NZEBs) are the core of the Energy Efficiency Directive (EED) and the recast of the Energy Performance of Building Directive (EPBD). To comply with these requirements, Member States have ...
